What is The Smörgåsboard?
Smörgåsbord /ˈsmɔːɡəsbɔːd/ noun, a wide range of something; a variety.
The Smörgåsboard is a buffet of games - board games, party games, dexterity games, card games and other table top games. It's a collection that is open to everyone, of all ages and abilities, to enjoy some time away from the screen and some good old fashioned fun.
What do we do?
We do board games, great coffee and fantastic beer (the food's not bad either)! We have an ever growing collection of games that we like to get people playing, from the seasoned gamer to the complete beginner. So why not put those phones down and come and see what it's all about!
How does it work?
You'll get the pick of our board game library for a 2 hour session and we will be on hand to recommend games and get you set up. You don't have to have any experience with any of the games and you might even claim to not like board games, but we have heard all of these excuses before and everyone always leaves wanting more!
Pricing
Game time is priced at £3.50 per person for 2 hours if you order food/drink from our menu. If you don't want to eat and drink and just want to focus on the games, then the fee is £7.00 per person for 2 hours.
