Please see below some of the most common questions that we get asked.
We offer board games for all ages, however it is worth considering that a large part of our library is better for players who are 8+.
Kind of, we think of ourselves as dog tolerant, rather than dog friendly! If you're thinking about bringing your canine friend, please consider whether they can chill for a couple of hours while you game as long gaming sessions and whining dogs are not a great combo. Please also note that on wet days, we ask that you towel down your dog as they tend to shake down and dry next to our games. If you are bringing your dog, please put a note on your booking so we can confirm it is ok.
We currently accept walk-in bookings from 2pm onwards, but we do recommend booking for peak times e.g. when it's raining!
Unfortunately, we have had to remove the option to book for 4 hours. During the peak holiday period, we have not been able to accommodate this option. If you're loving your session, and want to extend on the day, then please talk to staff. If bookings allow, we might be able to extend your session.
Yes! For most things on our menu, we offer gluten free and/or vegan choices. We don't charge extra for these as that would be unfair!
It all depends. If we're busy with bookings for games, then we tend to not be able to take walk-ins for food and drinks. However, if we have the capacity to serve you, then we will certainly try!
We book slots of 2 hours each, so there are times that the cafe looks empty, but in fact we're about to fill up with gamers! Also, we have a tiny kitchen and bar, and a small team, so we have to consider this when taking walk-in bookings.
Yes, absolutely! We're always keen to check out new games, so expect lots of nosey staff. During peak times, the table time fee will still apply, but out of season/at quiet times we should be able to do you a deal.
